Meghan Markle is somewhat making a comeback in Tinseltown after signing to one of the biggest talent agencies in the business.
However, it’s highly unlikely the former Suits actress will return to acting as such.
The Duchess of Sussex has carved out a lucrative entertainment empire since quitting Royal life in the UK with husband Prince Harry, and moving back to her hometown of California, where the couple live with their children Prince Archie, three, and Princess Lilibet, one.
Meghan, 41, has since launched a TV production company and signed multi-million dollar contracts with Netflix and Spotify.
So it makes sense that the duchess has now reportedly signed to William Morris Endeavour (WME) for representation.
According to Variety, Meghan had been approached by several of the top agencies in Hollywood but decided to settle with WME, which currently represents A-list stars such as Serena Williams and Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock.
It’s believed that WME will take on representation of Meghan and Harry’s content creation brand Archewell, as well as her TV production ventures, brand deals and other business areas.
It has long been rumoured whether Meghan would ever return to the screen after her previous career as an actress, but it’s said this will ‘not be an area of focus.’
Before marrying into royalty, the duchess famously starred as Rachel Zane in Suits as well as several Hallmark movies. She also appeared as a red box model on Deal or No Deal.
Meghan’s team at WME will reportedly include Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel and Brad Slater.
The news comes days before Harry, 38, will jet back to the UK to attend the coronation of his father King Charles III.

King Charles will be officially crowned the new monarch following the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth II in September, with a weekend of celebrations set to kick off on May 5.
It was previously confirmed that Meghan will not be joining Harry as she’ll stay in California with their children, with the coronation falling on Archie’s fourth birthday on May 6.
Tensions are still high after Harry and Meghan’s controversial statements about the Royal Family in recent years, notably in their Netflix documentary and the Duke of Sussex’s memoir Spare.
