Kate Middleton are to make Kensington Palace their permanent London home, establishing a new ‘royal court’ with Prince Harry as they take up Princess Margaret’s former family-size apartment.

Apartment 1A is described by royal insiders as ‘the size of a terraced London house’, with five bedrooms, three reception rooms and its own private walled garden.
The four-storey dwelling will undergo renovations worth an estimated £1million, after which time the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will move in – around 2013.
