In case you somehow haven’t heard, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are expecting a baby.
The news broke in October, when Meghan was in her second trimester, which is seen as the safe benchmark in a pregnancy.
Meghan has recently celebrated her baby shower, and we’ve got everything you need to know about it right here…
Where was Meghan Markle’s baby shower?
As you might expect from a member of the royal family, the shower, which happened yesterday, is said to have been an opulent affair.
It was held at The Mark Hotel, which has a website which describes it as ‘New York’s most boldly lavish hotel’, and is located in New York’s Upper East Side.
Reportedly, the shower took place in the penthouse, which is said to cost $75,000 (roughly £58,000) a night.
Who went to Meghan’s baby shower?
The guest list was reportedly a small gathering of Meghan’s closest friends.
Two of her best pals, stylist Jessica Mulroney and her ex-Suits co-star Abigail Spencer (who plays Dana Scott on the show) were said to have been the event’s organisers.
There’s been no guest list officially confirmed, however we do know that Serena Williams was there, and that Abigail Spencer was photographed with Megan at the hotel.
Markus Anderson, who’s said to be Meghan’s ‘closest friend in the world’ and is reportedly the one who set Meghan up with Harry in the first place, was also there.
When is Meghan and Harry’s baby due?
Meghan let slip to a fan last month that she’s due to have the baby in April.
Meghan could naturally be early though, which might see her giving birth at the end of March. This means there’s a change that Harry and Meghan’s child could be born on Brexit day, which is set at Friday 29 March 2019.
If the baby is late, however, they could be born on Prince Louis’ first birthday, which is 23 April 2019.
