It was a whirlwind romance that ended in the wedding of the year for the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
As they head into the new year for the first time as husband and wife, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will no doubt be reflecting on a busy and eventful 2018.
They got married, announced their pregnancy and held hands in cities around the world making them the most PDA comfortable couple in the Royal Family.
These are Harry and Meghan’s top 10 most romantic moments of the past year
1. Harry whispering in Meghan’s ear
In January, Harry and Meghan spent an away day in Cardiff.
The Prince was captured on camera whispering to his smiling bride-to-be as they watched a performance by a Welsh choir in the banqueting hall during a visit to Cardiff Castle.
2. Holding hands across the country
While the royal family are often known for their reserve, Harry and Meghan have delivered their own take on joint appearances.
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, and even the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, usually separate on walkabouts, working different sections of the crowd.
But loved-up Harry and Meghan often stick together, holding hands as they meet the public.
