Tom Hardy and Prince Harry proved that old friendships die hard as they caught up at a right royal engagement on Wednesday.
The chums have conducted a rather on-the-DL friendship that we’ve yet to see in full bloom, after they reportedly became good friends after the actor became an ambassador for The Prince’s Trust in 2010.
Tom said at the time: ‘I became an Ambassador for The Prince’s Trust to show my support for its work with tens of thousands of disadvantaged young people every year. It’s so important to me that they get the life-changing second chance that I had.’
However, they also met at a polo match, with Tom said is a game he ‘does not understand greatly’.
But advocacy, that’s his jam. As was seen today.
We’ve now copped a glimpse of the two in chummy action as they came together for a discussion on violent youth crime at Clarence House today.
The two were third-wheeled by The Price of Wales, Tinie Tempah and a suited up Gareth Southgate as the group got to grips about how to use their platform for good.
Hardy and Hazza were seen in the background of a shot deep in conversation, before they were gathered around a table chatting all things advocacy.
The two might have another famous/royal friendship to contend with though, as Prince Charles looked mighty tight with Tinie, as he animatedly pointed at the rapper, as the performer laughed.
If there was ever a need for a ‘caption this’, this image is it. We just have so many questions here.
It comes after Tom had revealed he has a ‘deeply’ private relationship with the royal, however he did divulge one thing.
‘Harry is a fucking legend,’ he told Esquire, after being one of the lucky guests to score an invitation to Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle in May this year.
Tom is already in Harry’s dad Charles’ good books, too, after the actor had a rather auspicious brush with royalty recently when he was awarded his CBE.
