Elton John has not been invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding – yet, at least.
The singer confirmed he has not received one of the 800 fancy invites that went out in the post last week, despite cancelling scheduled Las Vegas tour dates that fell over the royal wedding weekend.
When speaking about Harry and Meghan’s nuptials on BBC Radio 2 on Thursday, Elton confirmed: ‘We haven’t had an invitation yet.’
Elton’s revelation comes as a surprise, as it had been hotly rumoured he would be providing the singing entertainment on the royal couple’s big day.
