
A convicted criminal who plotted to kill Prince Harry has been jailed for three years.
While Ashraf Islam’s plan was described as ‘vague and unlikely to succeed’, a judge ruled he did pose a risk to the public.
Islam, 31, had given the matter ‘considerable thought’.
Judge Richard McGregor-Johnson, the recorder for the royal borough of Kensington and Chelsea, said he would not go over details of Islam’s plot. But he told Isleworth crown court during the brief hearing: ‘This was not a threat made in isolation.
