A man has admitted he made threats to kill Prince Harry after he walked into a police station and told officers about his plans.
Ashraf Islam, previously known as Mark Townley, is currently in custody awaiting sentence after pleading guilty at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on May 25.
Mr Islam is said to have walked into a Hounslow station on the same day Drummer Lee Rigby was brutally murdered, and then told police he intended to kill the prince.
The 30-year-old is thought to have converted to Islam during a stint in prison.
