Today is the Coronation of King Charles III, so the eyes of the world will be on the entire Royal Family.
Fans of the pomp and circumstance about to unfold will be keen to see which royals will appear in the coronation procession after the ceremony, as well as on Buckingham Palace’s balcony.
However, it has been confirmed that the King’s son Prince Harry and the King’s brother Prince Andrew won’t be in the procession.
Both were in the procession for the funeral of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, though.
So, why won’t they be there?
Why are Harry and Andrew missing from the procession?
As Harry and Andrew aren’t working royals, they won’t be in the procession at the coronation.
Both are confirmed to be attending the ceremony at Westminster Abbey, but neither will have an official role in the event.
Nor are they expected to join The King and Queen Camilla on the Buckingham Palace balcony afterwards.
Prince Harry, who is The Duke of Sussex, left life as a working royal behind in 2020.
He currently lives in California, where his wife Meghan will remain during the coronation with daughter Princess Lilibet and son Prince Archie, whose fourth birthday is today.
Prince Andrew, who is The Duke of York, was stripped of royal patronages and military titles in 2022 amid sexual assault allegations.
