The Duke of Sussex and Queen Consort’s approval ratings have inched upward ahead of Britain crowning its new monarch this weekend.
According to the most recent Ipsos survey on British attitudes toward the royal family, 38% percent of respondents view Camilla favourably – up by about eight points on last month – while about 30% view her unfavourably.
Prince Harry’s approval rating stands at about 27%, a minor increase on his standing at the end of last year, though almost half of those surveyed said they took a poor view of the Duke.
Overall, Prince William, Princess Anne and Princess Catherine remain the most popular members of the royal family, all with approval ratings hovering at about 60%.
The bottom two spots are occupied by Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, and the disgraced Prince Andrew, polling at just 25% and 11% favourability respectively.
Generally, people appear to believe that Britain should remain a monarchy, with 25% of respondents saying they think the country ought to become a republic.
Nevertheless, only 29% believe the UK will still have a monarchy in 100 years’ time.

About 37% of people think the royal family is an expense the country’s economy cannot afford, although more than half agree that the royals should at the very least not receive as much money as they do.
The recent polling results come as Britain prepares to crown King Charles III in less than 24 hours.
An unprecedented operation is currently underway by the Metropolitan Police to ensure that the event, due to take place at Westminster Abbey, is not interrupted by protesters.
