The royals ignored the Prince Harry controversy – officially at least – as they wished the Princess of Wales a happy 41st birthday.
The family’s social media accounts posted a message and photo of Kate receiving flowers from toddler Charlotte Bunting.
It was taken during her visit to a church and food bank in Swansea in September.
Tatler magazine said the princess would be celebrating her birthday ‘privately with her family’ at Adelaide Cottage in Great Windsor Park.
In his recent interviews, Harry claimed the press were often fed stories – attributed to ‘palace sources’ or ‘insiders’ – in attempts to influence public opinion about members of the royal family.
While Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace have not commented on the duke’s tell-all memoir, those close to his brother the Prince of Wales have said the allegations left him ‘burning in anger’.
