The Royal Family’s official channels made no mention of the media storm surrounding Prince Harry’s series of explosive interviews.
They instead wished the Princess of Wales a happy 41st birthday.
A photo of Kate receiving flowers from toddler Charlotte Bunting was posted on social media, along with the message: ‘Wishing The Princess of Wales a very Happy Birthday today!’
It was taken during her visit to a church and food bank in Swansea in September.
Tatler magazine said she would be celebrating her birthday ‘privately with her family’ at Adelaide Cottage in Great Windsor Park.
Harry’s memoir Spare officially hits the shelves tomorrow, but Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace have still not commented.
People close to Prince William, however, have reportedly said the allegations left him ‘burning’ with anger.
In his recent interviews, the Duke of Sussex claimed ‘palace sources’ fed stories to the press to influence public opinion about royal family members.
The book was accidentally released early in Spain last week, immediately sparking a frenzy over claims William physically attacked Harry in a row over Meghan Markle.
