Prince Harry is to be given the prestigious humanitarian leadership award for charitable work done to support the armed forces.

The 27-year-old will accept the honour from the Atlantic Council on behalf of both himself and his brother, the Duke of Cambridge, in Washington DC on May 7th.
Both princes jointly created the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry in September 2009 while Harry also supports Help For Heroes and ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
Harry is also patron of Walking With The Wounded, a UK-based charity helping to fund the re-training and re-education of wounded service men and women.
