No member of the Royal Family was allegedly approached for comment in response to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive Netflix docuseries.
Neither Buckingham Palace nor Kensington Palace was given a chance to comment, a ‘senior source’ in the royal household has claimed.
It’s understood that neither the Royal Family nor the Royal Household was contacted.
This is despite the Netflix programme stating in its introduction: ‘Members of the Royal Family declined to comment on the content within this series.’
Though, it’s also understood that Netflix did, in fact, contact representatives of King Charles and the Prince of Wales.
The first three episodes of the six-part Harry & Meghan: The Global Event dropped on Netflix at around 8am this morning.
King Charles and Prince William are reportedly ready to issue a ‘swift and robust’ response to any ‘unjust claims’ in the programme.
How the couple fell for one another is the main focus of the first episode, though both Harry and Meghan detail their fraught relationship with the British press.
