The King and the Queen Consort are planning a united front with the Prince and Princess of Wales in the face of Harry and Meghan’s searing Netflix documentary against the royal family.

Charles and Camilla will attend Kate’s second annual Christmas carol service, Together At Christmas, at Westminster Abbey.

Their show of solidarity will come on Thursday next week – the day the final three episodes of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s £88million series are released on Netflix.

There has already been speculation that Kate will be among the targets for criticism.

Two Netflix trailers have suggested Harry and Meghan will make more complaints about their treatment by the royal family and the media.

One teaser appeared to show Meghan crying, just after a shot of the Princess of Wales with an icy look on her face.

Jack Royston, Newsweek’s chief royal correspondent, said that the series might touch on Kate’s student days, telling Good Morning Britain: ‘If they go into the early days of Kate and William’s relationship that could be very uncomfortable.’
