Prince Harry is one step away from completing the training that will enable him to return to Afghanistan at the controls of an Apache helicopter.

The 27-year-old will complete the war footing course in the £46million gunship by the end of the month before being assigned to an Army Air Corps squadron at Wattisham in Suffolk.
Pilots can be sent to the front line three months after completing the course but the prince is expected to return at the end of the year following engagements for the Queenâs diamond jubilee and the Olympics.
