The release date of Prince Harry’s much-anticipated memoir has reportedly been set in stone.

Industry executives told The New York Times the tell-all account of life in the Royal Family will hit the shelves on January 10, 2023.

When it was announced, the book was slated for a late 2022 release but the date has been pushed back several times.

The Duke of Sussex was reportedly asked to re-write sections to give an account of the death Queen Elizabeth II, further delaying the process.

Buckingham Palace is said to be nervously waiting to see what secrets the disgruntled royal chooses to spill.

Publisher Random House promised an ‘intimate and heartfelt memoir’ that ‘will share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him’.

Harry’s revelations about royal life during a controversial Oprah interview and in other media appearances since have deepened the rift between him and the royals.

King Charles and Prince William were said to have been blind-sided by his decision to lift the lid further on Britain’s most famous family.

The book is almost certain to be best-selling sensation both in the UK and overseas.

Harry signed a publishing deal shortly after ditching royal duties and moving to the US with wife Meghan Markle.

The memoir is part of a three-book deal worth more than £36 million, according to The Telegraph.

The pair are also reportedly working on a fly-on-the-wall style documentary with Netflix.

A publishing source told The Sun the publisher was ‘disappointed’ with the first draft as it wasn’t deemed revelatory enough before changes were made.

It was claimed last month that Harry was pushing to be allowed to rewrite sections despite the manuscript having been signed off.

They added: ‘Harry has thrown a spanner in the works as he is desperate to get it refined in the light of the Queen’s death, her funeral and his father Charles taking the throne.

‘There may be things which might not look so good if they come out so soon after the Queen’s death and his dad becoming King.

‘He wants sections changed. It’s not a total rewrite by any means. He desperately wants to make changes. But it might be too late.’
