Album review: Much of + comprises gloopy, largely anonymous ballads, but Ed Sheeran – still barely out of school and looking about 12 – is clearly a talented chap who can only get better.

Singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran is a 20-year-old Prince Harry lookalike from Suffolk who somehow straddles the worlds of folksy MOR and hip hop.
This means he finds himself on the playlists at both Radio 2 (where his ballads fit in nicely amid the James Blunts and James Morrisons on the Ken Bruce Show) and 1Xtra (MCing alongside the likes of Wiley and Wretch 32).
