A royal photographer has said he doesn’t believe Prince Harry is happy living in the US with wife Meghan Markle after the couple left the British monarchy.
Arthur Edwards, 80, was asked if he thought the Duke of Sussex, 36, was happy while appearing on ITV’s Lorraine this morning. He replied: ‘I don’t actually, no. I think what is he going to do rolling around in that house everyday.
‘In England, he had a purpose. In this country, Great Britain, he was somebody, he was important. He used to get involved in lots of charities, and certainly with young people, he was fantastic’.
Mr Edwards has spent more than four decades as a photographer for The Sun, and accompanied the Royal Family on numerous tours.
He previously told America Reports he had been ‘so angry’ with Harry for ‘feeding his chickens and riding around Los Angeles in an open top bus’ while the rest of the royals handled the pandemic in the UK.
Mr Edwards’ words come in the wake of Harry and Meghan’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, which was broadcast in the US on Sunday and on ITV in the UK on Monday night.

The Sussexes opened up about their decision to leave the Royal Family, with Meghan revealing she had experienced suicidal thoughts while pregnant with son Archie.
Harry also opened up about reports of a rift with his brother Prince William, stating that the ‘relationship is space at the moment’.
The couple also both alleged that an unnamed member of the family had raised ‘concerns and conversations’ about how dark Archie’s skin might be before he was born.
Meghan said: ‘In those months when I was pregnant, we had in tandem the conversations of him not being given security or a title, and also concerns about how dark his skin might be when he’s born.’

Neither Harry or Meghan identified the person who made the comments. The Duke added: ‘That conversation, I am never going to share. At the time it was awkward, I was a bit shocked.’
A statement released on behalf of the Queen on Tuesday afternoon said the whole family had been saddened by Meghan and Harry’s account of their time within the Royal Family.
It continued: ‘The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.’
