It has been an extremely busy month for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, following a flurry of major announcements.
On Valentines Day, the pair revealed that they are expecting their second child.
The following day, on February 15, US Network CBS announced that the royal couple had agreed to a tell-all interview with media mogul Oprah Winfrey, who also happens to be their friend and neighbour in California.
Oprah took a private jet to Santa Barbara and spent two days with the Sussexes to film the exclusive sit down chat, in which ‘no subject was off limits’.
Just days after recording this ‘tell-all’, Harry and Meghan confirmed they would not be returning to their roles as senior royals and were officially stripped of their remaining royal privileges and patronages.
Sources close to Meghan have shared that the Duchess sees this interview as ‘the loudest way to get her voice back’.
The source told The Sunday Times: ‘When they first started dating, Meghan felt she had lost her voice. She had had a platform as a moderately successful actress, and when she was told to stop using her social media and be careful what she said, I could tell that loss of voice and independence pained her.’

When is the Harry and Meghan Oprah interview?
The interview, produced by US TV station CBS, is set to air on March 7 at 8pm Eastern Time.
So, in our timezone, it will air on March 8 at 1am.
ITV has now confirmed they will broadcast the two hour-special the following evening on Monday, March 9 at 9pm.
ITV Managing Director Kevin Lygo said: ‘This interview is already a national talking point and ITV is pleased to be able to offer UK audiences the opportunity to see it.’
Officially titled ‘Oprah with Meghan and Harry’, the programme will be a two-hour long special produced by Oprah’s own production company.
The production company has described the interview as ‘intimate and wide-ranging’, discussing topics like parenting, life in the public eye and the couple’s plans for the future.
Meghan will speak to Oprah without Harry initially, before being joined by her husband.
How to watch Harry and Meghan’s Oprah interview in the UK
ITV will air the exclusive interview in the UK on Tuesday, March 9, the day after it airs in the US.
Sources close to the deal previously told Variety that the battle to broadcast the highly-anticipated interview boiled down to ITV and Discovery. Had Discovery won the bid, Harry and Meghan’s interview would likely have aired on Discovery’s recently launched platform on Sky Q and Amazon Fire TV.
In the past, other episodes of Oprah’s interviews have been uploaded to the ’60 minutes’ YouTube channel within 24 hours of airing.
However, it is not known at this stage whether Harry and Meghan’s interview will also be uploaded to Youtube – and it’s likely this would only be available for people based in the US.
