The Simpsons creators are keen to get Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for cameo roles on the show, it has been reported.

The animation has seen a host of famous faces make guest appearances in the past including the likes of Ricky Gervais and Anne Hathaway.

And now they want the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to do the voices for cartoon characters on the show, although bosses are yet to approach them.

‘We’ve talked about Harry and Meghan. I hear she wants to do voiceover work. So if they’re reading this, give us a call,’ producer Al Jean told The Sun.

According to reports, Prince Harry was overheard at The Lion King premiere in July telling Disney chief Bob Iger that his wife was interested in voiceovers.

It was also recently reported that Yeardley Smith, who does the voiceover for Lisa Simpson said that she’d love for Greta Thunberg to do a cameo.

‘It’d be great if Greta plays herself,’ she told The Radio Times.

The cartoon has also seen Sir Paul McCartney make a cameo in the episode which saw Lisa stop eating meat, and producers had promised to keep her as a vegetarian.

Jean added: Every time I see him, he always checks and he’s always surrounded by nine or 10 lawyers, so it’s quite frightening.’

Other famous faces that have graced Springfield in the past are Anthony Hopkins, Seth Rogen, and William Shatner.
