Prince Harry has followed in the footsteps of his father with an impromptu TV appearance on a royal visit to Nottingham.
The Prince of Wales impressed many viewers when he had a go at presenting the weather at BBC Scotland last year – and being a natural in front of the cameras appears to run in the family.
Dressed in a black zip-up fleece combined with a white shirt, the young royal put in a confident performance alongside student Gemma Rowe at the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies.
After being praised for his attempts to put sound to a piece of film in one of the suites, Prince Harry said: ‘Well if the flying doesn’t work out…’
The institute is part of the consortium which will run Nottingham’s first local television station Notts TV, due to start broadcasting on Freeview from next year.
Confetti managing director Craig Chettle said: ‘The Prince has been an amazing sport today and has thrown himself into everything during the visit.’
Earlier he was greeted by dozens of screaming schoolchildren as he arrived for his first ever visit to the city.
He followed in his mother’s footsteps when he opened the headquarters of brain injury charity Headway at Bradbury House in Old Basford.
The late Diana, Princess of Wales, was a Royal Patron of the charity from 1991 to 1996.
