Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will reportedly be spending Christmas in a secret hideaway in Canada as they take a six-week break from Royal duties.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their eight-month-old son Archie are said to have already flown out to stay at the location.
The news came as a video emerged of Prince Harry dressed as Santa telling bereaved children of British Armed Forces members that they will ‘never be forgotten’.
Meghan’s mum Doria will visit the family from Los Angeles and they will be joined by other friends, according to Mail Online.
The Duchess lived in Canada for seven years when filming the legal drama Suits.
One of Meghan’s close pals thought to be visiting the couple is fashion stylist Jessica Mulroney, along with her husband Ben and their three children.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry sent his festive wishes to nearly 200 bereaved children at a party staged by the Scotty’s Little Soldiers charity.
The Duke, 35, served in the Army for 10 years and undertook two tours of Afghanistan.
His mother Diana, Princess of Wales, died in 1997 when he was aged just 13.
Sporting an impressive fake white beard, Harry opened the video with a cheery ‘ho, ho, ho’.
Prince Harry told them he wanted to ‘encourage you guys to look around and realise that you are part of a family’.
The Duke went on: ‘Having met some of you a few years ago, or most of you, I know how incredibly strong you are.
‘So yes, losing a parent is incredibly hard but I know that every single one of you by helping each other out that you will have an amazing future ahead of you and a fantastic Christmas as well.
‘Your parents, they will never be forgotten and you will never be forgotten.’
Founded by war widow Nikki Scott, Scotty’s Little Soldiers supports children across the UK who have lost a parent who served in the British forces.
She said: ‘It can be a difficult time of year for these kids, so receiving a heartfelt message from Prince Harry really meant the world to them.
‘The message was a surprise and the look on their faces was priceless.’
The charity was set after Ms Scott’s husband and father to her two children, Corporal Lee Scott, was killed in Afghanistan a decade ago.
