Beyonce has replaced the Queen in London’s Madame Tussauds – and it is everything.
Standing proud next to Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, the Crazy In Love hitmaker’s waxwork took centre place when being unveiled to the public.
It’s the first time Queen Elizabeth II has been pushed aside, but the General Manager, Steve Davies, believes it’s the right thing to do.
And so do we – after all she is Queen Bey.
He said of the popular singer: ‘Beyonce is a living legend, rightly crowned Queen Bey by her legions of fans and industry insiders.
‘If anyone is fitting of a claim to The Queen’s spot in our attraction for the very first time, it’s Beyonce.
‘HRH Queen Elizabeth II is famous for her mischievous sense of humour and we think a wry smile will cross her face when she sees that music royalty has temporarily filled her shoes.’
He added: ‘In the words of Beyoncé herself, Her Majesty is most definitely “irreplaceable” so Queen Bey will take her spot for one day only before her figure moves to own our music stage.’
That’s right, the new figure will be next to the royal family for one day before the Queen is returned to her rightful place.
Sharing a picture of the new waxwork to their Instagram, Madame Tussauds told their following: ‘It’s time to bow down to THE QUEEN.’
And it seems the latest addition has got the Bey Hives’ approval, as they couldn’t contain their excitement in the comments.
‘Well done on getting this right,’ one wrote with clapping hand emojis, while another added: ‘YOU GOT IT OMG.’
Someone else said: ‘I’m crazy in love with this.’
This isn’t the first time Bey has been seen with royalty, as she recently attended The Lion King premiere alongside Meghan and Prince Harry.
During the monumental meeting, Beyonce could be heard talking about Meghan and Harry’s newborn son, Archie Harrison.
While holding hands the singer told the Duchess: ‘It’s nice to meet you’ as the new mum embraced Bey’s hubby Jay-Z, who said ‘congrats’ to Meghan on the birth of her baby.
