The pair took baby Archie to the secluded Vista Alegre complex of luxury homes overlooking the sea.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle flew to the island on a private jet before being taken to the resort by car.
Locals said they noticed security had been beefed up during the royal couple’s stay.
One told The Sun: ‘The area has been built to a high specification and is a billionaires’ playground so the security staff know what they are doing.’
It can cost more than £25,000 to stay for a week in one of the villas, which overlook Porroig bay on south-west coast of the Spanish island.
One of the most expensive, Sa Calma, would set you back £120,000 a week and has been stayed in by the likes of DJ David Guetta and Sir Paul McCartney.
It comes complete with a 50 metre pool, a house manager, a chef, waitress and its own Range Rover Autobiography with its own driver.
If that’s not quite enough, you can also arrange a butler, yoga instructor and personal trainer to come to the villa.
Harry and Meghan raised eyebrows after taking a private jet to the south of France on Wednesday, despite having encouraged the public to do what they can to reduce their carbon footprint.
Their flight to Nice on a 12-seater Cessna came weeks after they took a private jet to Sicily to attend a Google Camp summit on climate change.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment on who paid for the couple’s Ibiza flights.
