Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal baby boy Archie Harrison will meet his uncle and aunt William and Kate for the first time today, it is reported.
The new royal baby was born on May 6, and since then his parents Meghan and Harry have kept things quiet, bonding with their new son in private.
They have introduced Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor to the Queen and Prince Philip, and Meghan’s mum Doria has been staying with her daughter to help her adjust to parenting.
Other than that, there haven’t been many visitors – but this week that’s set to change.
William and Kate and their children are ‘dying’ to meet the baby, according to the Mirror.
A source told the paper: ‘All of the family have been dying to meet little Archie and are really excited to finally congratulate Harry and Meghan in person.’
‘Prince Charles and Camilla were in constant contact when they were in Germany and are so excited to spend some time with the new family.
‘Prince George, 5 and Princess Charlotte, 4, have already been asking their parents when they can meet their new cousin, they are as excited as anybody.’
The paper said William and Kate will travel to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor today to meet the new arrival.
Meanwhile, Prince Charles is said to be paying a visit on Thursday.
Princess Diana’s older sister Lady Jane Fellowes was one of the first to meet the new baby. It’s sen as an indication that Harry remains very close with his mother’s side of the family.
Royal commentator Omid Scobie told Good Morning America: ‘Archie’s first week at home with mum and dad was quiet, they wanted that personal space with their newborn.
‘This week it’s all about the visitors, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visiting tomorrow and the Prince of Wales visiting later this week.’
