Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal baby is now the newest addition to the royal family after being born on 6 May.

While he still might not yet have a name, he is seventh in-line to the throne, behind his father Prince Harry.

The Queen has had four children during her marriage to Prince Philip, which has led to them both having eight grandchildren and now many great-grandchildren too.

Among them are Prince William’s three children, but how many great-grandchildren does the Queen have in total and who is the oldest?

How many great-grandchildren does the Queen have?

The Queen now has eight great-grandchildren after the birth of Prince Harry Meghan Markle’s child, who is the new cousin to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Three of them come from Prince William and his wife Kate – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Each of them are currently high up in the line of succession, with Prince George third in-line to succeed the Queen after his grandfather, Prince Charles, and father, the Duke of Cambridge.

Her remaining great-grandchildren currently come from the family of her daughter Anne, Princess Royal as her children with ex-husband Mark Phillips have had two kids each.

Anne’s son Peter Phillips has two daughters with wife Autumn  – Savannah and Isla, while Mia and Lena are the daughters of Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall.

Savanna Anne Kathleen is actually the oldest of the Queen’s great-grandchildren as she was born in December 2010, and the Queen was present for her baptism in April 2011.
