Meghan Markle’s closest friends have broken their silence for the first time to ‘stand up against the global bullying’ they are seeing and to ‘speak the truth about their friend’.
Five of Meghan’s anonymous pals have revealed what Meghan is really like, sharing details about how she’s coping with royal life in a series of interviews with the People.
One co-star said: ‘Meg has silently sat back and endured the lies and untruths. We worry about what this is doing to her and the baby.
‘It’s wrong to put anyone under this level of emotional trauma, let alone when they’re pregnant.’
The friends sought to set the record straight on everything from her relationship with her dad to an up-close view of her wedding.
They say they have visited Harry and Meghan’s cottage, saying it’s ‘small and she’s made it cosy, but the perception of their lifestyle and the reality are two different things’.
One also added: ‘Meg cooks for herself and Harry every single day.’
The group of friends, who still claim they speak to Meghan daily, say she hasn’t changed, describing her as ‘selfless’ and the ‘best listener’.
They go on to address the claims of a fallout between Meghan and her family, claiming that her half-siblings Thomas Jr and Samantha Markle were ‘not part of her life’.
They also claim her dad Thomas has ‘never called; never texted’ and said it’s ‘super painful’.
Meghan is someone who is a good listener and has an intense interest in people, they claim.
‘When you see her at walkabouts, when she crouches down to talk to the kids and genuinely has real conversations with people, that’s Meg,’ says the former costar.
‘That’s how she crouches down with our kids at home. That’s how she plays with them. That’s how she engages with people and how she always has.’
