Meghan Markle’s face lights up as she’s reunited with her wedding dress in a new documentary.
The Duchess of Sussex looks smitten as she touches the delicate fabric in a trailer for Queen of the World, a new ITV series exploring the Queen’s role as head of Commonwealth.
Meghan asked French fashion house Givenchy to hand-embroidered the veil with flowers from each of the 53 Commonwealth nations.
’53 countries, oh my goodness,’ Meghan can be heard saying in the video. ‘It will keep us busy.’

She also added a few personal touches to the veil, such as a Californian Poppy in a nod to where she grew up and a Wintersweet, which grows in the grounds of Kensington Palace in front of Nottingham Cottage – the home she shares with her Harry.
Meghan will discuss her wedding and the veil she wore at the royal wedding in the two-part documentary series.
The dress and veil will also be put on public display for a new exhibition dubbed the Royal Collection at Windsor Castle next month.
ITV says in a statement about the documentary: ‘As the family and world leaders discuss the importance of the Commonwealth to the Queen, the series will document the way in which she passes her knowledge and experience to the younger generations.’
Another clip from the series shows Harry admitting he still ‘panics’ when he bumps into the Queen at Buckingham Palace.
Harry is now a Commonwealth Youth Ambassador and has already spoken about how his wife, Meghan, will join him in his work – which will see them begin a major Commonwealth tour in October.
During the series the Duke of Sussex is filmed chatting to young people who won places on the Royal Household Caribbean Hospitality Scholarship initiative.
He tells them: ‘You guys have spent way more time in Buckingham Palace than I ever have – and you’ve only been here two weeks.

‘Have you bumped into the Queen yet? If you suddenly bump into her in the corridor, don’t panic. I know you will. We all do.’
The series will air on 25 September, just before Meghan and Harry head to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga on their first official tour of Commonwealth nations.
