
Prince Harry ‘will quit the Army’ if he is stopped from going to Iraq, Household Cavalry sources have warned.
The decision to deploy the third in line to the throne is under review by military chiefs after one of the bloodiest months in the country for British sources.
But his colleagues in the Household Cavalry Regiment say Harry is determined to be along his troops when they are sent to Iraq in a few weeks.
‘This comes as a huge surprise,’ said a Household Cavalry source.
‘As of today, as far as the regiment’s concerned he is definitely, definitely going.
‘This is what he signed up for and if he doesn’t go, he will sign off and leave.
‘He joined the Army for a bit of excitement and for him to be told he’s not going would be awful.’
